The EBOARDMUSEUM in London
Until December 15, 2021, the EBOARDMUSEUM will be present in London with its EMS VCS 3!
This is part of a ▸ special exhibition in honor of TANGERINE DREAM, which has been running for months at the Barbican Center in the heart of London.
By the way, exactly there where the world famous London Symphony Orchestra has its homebase!
Original instruments of the worldwide recognized synthesizer pioneers TANGERINE DREAM - like the ultra rare MELLOTRON MARK 5 or the KORG PS 3200 - can still be seen and played at the EBOARDMUSEUM all year round!
The EBOARDMUSEUM at GOOGLE ARTS & CULTURE
The EBOARDMUSEUM was invited by GOOGLE as one of only two Austrian museums to cooperate in the global project MUSIC, MAKERS & MACHINES.
We gladly accepted this invitation to share our museum treasures with you also during the Covid 19 lockdown.
If you scroll all the way down the individual stories, you will (almost always) find videos at the bottom of the page that vividly show how the respective instrument sounds. So you don't have to have a degree in music to get to know our instruments...... :-)
The Highlights of the EBOARDMUSEUM in a Book!
Classic Keys is a beautifully photographed and illustrated book focusing on the signature rock keyboard sounds of the 1950s to the early 1980s. It celebrates the Hammond B-3 organ, Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos, the Vox Continental and Farfisa combo organs, the Hohner Clavinet, the Mellotron, the Minimoog and other famous and collectable instruments.
